Small Batch Fiber Mill located in Central Virginia

From the pasture to your hands. We source our fibers directly from American farmers to transform into beautiful fiber products.

From Pasture to Project

“American Made” isn’t a slogan, it’s a commitment to our agricultural community. We believe in supporting our local fibershed including the land, the animals, and the humans who tend them. Our current offerings are

Carded Batts

Semi-woolen 50g batts created on our brother supercarder. All fiber is hand picked and processed by us.

Hand Combed Roving

Combed by our hands, this is best for the semi-worsted spinner who wants more aligned fibers.

Washed Wool

Want to try the processing yourself but don’t want to worry about washing it? We also offer some washed raw wool so you get the fun but in a smaller package.

“Historically, the sheep industry has played an important role in supporting the economic viability and vitality of rural America.”

Hand-Dyed Yarns

While we don’t have a spinner yet, we extend our love for fiber, color, and texture to intentionally sourced skeins. We source yarn bases from trusted mills and transform them by hand into unique, small-batch colorways.

To provide yarns featuring the best mix of local heritage wool and alpaca breeds and yarns with next to skin softness, we offer two distinct yarn collections:

American Milled Yarn

100% American Grown and Milled with a focus on our local and regional Fibersheds. These will occasionally come in blends that have parts sourced outside of the USA.

International Yarn

We select these yarn bases for incredible next-to-skin softness. Classic fiber blends for everyday projects and we work to make sure that these are ethically sourced from around the world.
